Blogger's subscription-cost math shows Opus 5.5 crushes GPT-6 Astra on value per dollar
PawelHuryn · x · 2026-10-07
PawelHuryn re-calculated Artificial Analysis benchmark scores using real subscription usage multipliers he measured by burning subscriptions: Claude Max 20x ($200) = 45.3x usage, ChatGPT plans = 10.25x, SuperGrok + X Premium+ ($70) = 80x, Muse Power + Contributor = 137x, plus nine other tiers. Conclusion: GPT-6 Astra lags far behind Opus 5.5 on value for money, and across effort levels Opus 5.5 is the best-value model. On his harder Bug Hunt Benchmark (finding/fixing real bugs in repos), GPT-6.1 Sol recovers somewhat, but for a cheap daily agent he recommends Muse Spark 1.3 + Contributor (which shares your data with Meta) over GPT-6.1 Sol.
