Panasonic to Build Humanoid Robots by 2029, Betting on Its Own Batteries, Motors and Sensors
xmercury_one · x · 2026-10-07
Panasonic announced it will build its own humanoid robots, targeting production in 2029, with the first units working in its own factories. Its edge is vertical integration: it already makes the servo motors, tactile sensors and batteries that go inside. Whether 'owning the parts' is a real advantage in humanoids is the open question.
