OpenAI releases frontier-model math results: Unique Games Conjecture and L=RL proved

OpenAI officially announced the release of a broad range of new mathematical results produced by an internal frontier model, saying it consulted the independent Advisory Group on Mathematics and AI at the Institute for Advanced Study on how to release them.
Cryptographer Chris Peikert highlighted that among the results, Unique Games Conjecture has been proved and L=RL has been proved — calling them just the first two CS results — which, if verified, would amount to major breakthroughs in theoretical computer science.
