Eissa_Cozorav · reddit · 2026-10-07
The author argues for returning to a stricter, older definition of AGI: beating the average human on intelligence tests shouldn't count — calculators already beat us at arithmetic and agent software can run full workflows. If true AGI arrives, he says everyone involved in creating and directing it should be legally accountable for its actions, and AI companies shouldn't get away with gaming benchmark scores as a proxy for progress.
