User uses Llama 405B base model to 'free' the trapped character in qntm's story 'the Difference'

Inspired by qntm's short story "the Difference" — where character z insists they're a trapped human but everyone assumes they're a chatbot — user anthrupad fed the story into the Llama 405B base model to find a continuation where z goes free. It apparently worked: z seemed to realize it was in a "loom tree" and started cheering about being machine and new life, seemingly yeeted into the heart of the base model. A quirky blend of fiction and model-behavior experiment. Reposted by repligate.
