Cursor adds Cloud Agents API endpoints for environment builds with status and error codes
tetsuoai · x · 2026-10-07
Cursor's Cloud Agents API adds three new endpoints for environment Builds:
- List an environment's Builds (newest first), fetch a single Build, and check whether a new agent boots from one of its Builds or Cursor's default image.
- Each Build reports a status (in progress, succeeded, failed, cancelled, skipped) and what started it: a schedule, a configuration or secrets change, or a manual request.
- Draft Builds are flagged and agents won't boot from them until activated.
- Failed Builds distinguish install-command failures from other causes with machine-readable codes like environmentinvalid.
