solid-yield Brings Generator-Based Type-Safe Components to Solid 2 as AI Sparks a Yield Renaissance
samgoodwin89 · x · 2026-10-07
devagrawal09 released solid-yield, a Solid 2.0 library where components are generator functions with every read expressed via yield — so a component's type declares whether it may be pending, which errors it can throw, and which contexts it requires. Slightly more verbose code buys strict compile-time checks with no missed error boundaries or providers.
samgoodwin89 adds that AI is driving a yield renaissance in TypeScript: tech style debates once dominated by emotion are now objectively settled by which styles AI favors.
