Grok Build ships major update: safer worktrees, resilient long sessions, tighter permissions, CJK memory search
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-07
xAI's coding agent Grok Build received one of its biggest updates, touching nearly the whole agent stack: safer worktree deletion and parallel creation, a redesigned Compact mode, targeted cancels, retries for stalled model calls, more resilient long sessions, tighter permission handling, file writes preserving originals, pkill/pgrep safeguards, improved Chinese/Japanese/Korean memory search, and TSV/CSV/Markdown exports. v1.0.49 also fixed promptpolicy enforcement for WebSearch/WebFetch and image generation.
