Google's ChrSzegedy claims superhuman intelligence is here as math reasoning generalizes

Google researcher Christian Szegedy argues superhuman intelligence has arrived: mathematical reasoning will transfer to any domain requiring complex reasoning and intuition-building. Even where training data is incomplete, he says AI will fill the gaps with high sample efficiency, just like humans — meaning the same model that solved hard math problems will excel across scientific and reasoning-bound tasks. Andrew Curran added that this generalization "continues to scale."
