After praising OpenAI's latest math results, burnytech publicly challenges @OpenAI: when will AI invent genuinely novel mathematical structures, theories and subfields—at the level of algebraic geometry, category theory, group theory or calculus—and use them to attack problems like P vs NP or the Riemann hypothesis? He asked Astra about the current state of mathematical novelty and says "prove... I mean... invent yourselves."
