Per Variety, Andrew Garfield's turn as Sam Altman in Luca Guadagnino's OpenAI drama 'Artificial' is drawing early Oscar talk. Written by Simon Rich, the film reconstructs the 5-day November 2023 board crisis. Neon acquired worldwide rights in late June after Amazon MGM — which greenlit it — dropped the project months after Amazon's $50B OpenAI investment.
