The ArtCraft team launched Crafting Apps: seven open-source, free creative tools rewritten from scratch in pure Rust, targeting Adobe's lineup, with macOS/Windows/Linux/Web builds:
- PhotoCraft: image editor (early alpha)
- VectorCraft: vector illustration
- FilmCraft: professional video editing
- LightCraft: local photo library & RAW developer
- PrintCraft: PDF workbench (read, merge, split, secure)
- EffectCraft: motion graphics & VFX
- DesignCraft: page layout & publishing
Most are still in development; the team is gathering community feedback on Discord to pick what to rebuild next.
