Ome Omy CUT: a local ComfyUI-based AI video editing workflow in the making
rileygstaliger · reddit · 2026-10-07
Developer Riley G is building Ome Omy CUT, an AI-assisted video editing workflow running locally on ComfyUI. Planned features: shot-by-shot scene building on a timeline with cut/timing control; character and location reference images to steer who appears where; video/audio references; character replacement via reference images; per-character dialogue assignment; automatic script splitting for longer sequences; and a visual UI handling reference bookkeeping over complex ComfyUI graphs. A stable one-click-install release is coming soon, with progress shared on Patreon.
