After hash commitments (SHA2-256) covering Hodge conjecture-related progress were revealed, mathematician Elliot Glazer noted one side had only proven Hodge for CM abelian varieties, while the OpenAI side had covered all Weil classes or even all abelian varieties. He had assumed OAI lagged because of how much they hyped partial progress, sarcastically dismissing claims that "Hodge is nearly solved."
