garmin-data-export updated: .NET tool feeds Garmin health data to AI agents
unixterminal · x · 2026-10-07
The author updated the open-source garmin-data-export project, a .NET tool that extracts all health and fitness data from Garmin Connect for AI agents.
- Output is plain text with complete JSON blocks, ready to upload to NotebookLM, ChatGPT, Claude, or to keep as a local backup.
- No Garmin developer API key needed; it uses the python-garminconnect library via the same SSO flow as the Garmin website.
- Exports everything — every API response field, unfiltered and unsummarized.
- Pre-built binaries for Linux, Windows, macOS (x86 and Arm) are incoming.
