OpenAI published its official blog post "Sharing AI progress in mathematics", detailing the progress of its internal math model.
Alongside the post, the openai/math GitHub repository releases manuscripts and formal proof artifacts — including the earlier Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize work — for the math community to verify. It's the first time the lab shares AI math research in this open, artifact-based format.
