EU EIC Accelerator offers €2.5M grants at zero equity, but founders warn of red-tape costs
DesireeCachette · x · 2026-10-07
The EU's EIC Accelerator grants startups up to €2.5M with zero equity, plus optional €1M–€10M EIC Fund investment, coaching, and investor access; EU/Horizon Europe startups and solo founders can apply once per company (2021–2027).
But the poster argues the real issue is over-regulation, not money: bureaucrats will demand PR in return, pressuring founders into publicity and distracting them from customers — likely a net negative for grantees.
