Developer Chomba Bupe argues AI boosters excessively exaggerate model capabilities, marketing them as a '150 IQ+ genius in a computer' that disappoints on real use. Writer Matt Ruff added that his most common AI use is Google search—useful but only Wikipedia-level reliable—and trusting it with your files or money is too risky.
