OpenAI Dev Days round 2: Approve-for-me now free, Decisions API live for builders
DeryaTR_ · x · 2026-10-07
OpenAI is in a rapid-fire release streak, and Day 2 alone packed several updates. Per @thsottiaux's roundup:
- Approve for me (auto-review) is now included and doesn't use quota — roughly 2-10% of a plan when used;
- A simplified API for builders launched;
- Meeting notes integrated;
- The Decisions API is live for builders and will be used in-app to improve the experience.
Derya notes it's only day 2 with a crazy volume of releases, and wonders how OpenAI will sustain this for another 26 days.
