Advice for escaping vibe coding: don't start with fundamentals — just build the thing. When you inevitably fail, run a mini retrospective and learn the building blocks you lacked, so knowledge lands with context and emotional resonance instead of staying theory. The one exception is Git: learn it up front (or have your agent teach you), since save points are painful to skip.
