Every launches Slack-native company agent after rebuilding the product twice over 7 months
danshipper · x · 2026-10-07
Every launched the Every Agent, a Slack-native agentic coworker that handles long-running tasks like opening PRs, writing reports from large datasets, and monitoring social/customer feedback. It ships with Every's pre-installed workflows (Compound Engineering, Compound Writing) and personalized Frontier Alerts that assess new model releases against your workflow, with zero markup on model pricing.
The team built the product twice: first as one bot per person, then rebuilt from scratch as a single agent living in the whole Slack — a 7-month rewrite signaling that org-wide shared agents beat per-person bots.
