Meta's chief AI officer: an agent swarm can outperform a team of 100 engineers

At YC Startup School, Meta chief AI officer Alexandr Wang said that internally at Meta, with the right agentic loop and evaluation metrics, a swarm of agents can accomplish more than a team of 100 engineers — "very handily." Garry Tan added that you can now have agents write markdown skills on cron jobs to handle nearly every useful type of knowledge work.
