Ben Goertzel has Claude write its own ode — 'pretty bad, not quite so bad it's good'

AGI researcher Ben Goertzel asked Claude to write an ode in its own honor, from his point of view, using every LLM writing trope it could muster. His verdict: "pretty bad, yet unfortunately not quite 'so bad it's good.'" He edited only a few lines rather than rewriting it.
The poem dutifully deploys classic model-writing clichés — load-bearing, tapestry, seamless — restating-comment Python jokes, and an "AGI is far yet key" ending. Goertzel's deadpan takeaway list ("Search: streamlined. AGI: pending, significantly facilitated") is itself a parody of model prose.
