Claude points to a lesser-known Obsidian trick: CSS snippets can scope to a single file
ColleenMBrady · x · 2026-10-07
The author set out to vibe code a small local app, but Claude suggested using Obsidian's built-in CSS snippets feature instead. She had assumed snippets impact the entire vault — turns out they can be scoped to individual files, and the quick prototype turned out great.
The takeaway: AI coding assistants sometimes redirect you to non-obvious uses of existing tools, saving you from building an app at all.
