Claude lands inside Google Docs, Sheets and Slides with in-place, approval-gated edits

Anthropic announced that Claude now works inside Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides: it sits in a sidebar in Google Workspace, reads the file you have open, and edits it in place, with each edit requiring user approval. Those files can also be opened directly inside Claude, putting it head-to-head with Gemini in Workspace.
