Sarvam opens Content Studio dubbing APIs that keep each speaker's original voice
itsOmSarraf_ · x · 2026-10-07
Indian AI company Sarvam has released its Content Studio video dubbing tool as APIs.
- Core thesis: getting dubbing to 80% is easy; the last 20% — voices, expressions, context and sync — is what makes it feel native
- Retains each speaker's original voice while translating video into other languages
- Lets users tune how conversational the translation feels and review/fix names, wording, speakers or timing line by line
- Edits regenerate only the affected part, not the entire video
