Google has signed a 20-year nuclear power purchase agreement with Constellation Energy covering 3,590 MW, including 890 MW of new uprates across 11 PJM units and over $4.3B of investment. CEG jumped 12.9% on the news, while Vistra rose 9.5% after a $4.2B DOE loan for 433 MW of uprates. The takeaway: hyperscalers will pay a premium for always-on power, repricing existing nuclear from boring utility to scarcity asset, driven by AI datacenter demand.
