Perplexity released pplx-decider-v1.1-27b, an open-weights multimodal decision model that ranks #1 on the new Hugging Face Decision Index 0.3. A weekend sprint brought better performance, less sensitivity to label swaps, and stronger OOD robustness versus v1. Input tokens cost $0.02 per million — half of v1's price.
