Father-son team launches Rhem, a companion robot helping aging parents call, book and track health
ycombinator · x · 2026-10-07
Jacob Shenn and his father launched Rhem Labs with Rhem, a home robot for aging parents inspired by 20 years of family caregiving. Parents just talk to Rhem to make calls, book appointments, manage reminders and get everyday online tasks done; a family app lets relatives follow health readings, routines and what Rhem handled, with the parent choosing what to share. Preorders are open.
