Hands-on with OpenAI's Dot: it manages calendars, cancels subscriptions, builds recipe site from chats
AIandDesign · x · 2026-10-06
A user shared hands-on experience with OpenAI's Dot:
- Voice call to manage the calendar, plan the week and track what not to forget;
- Found redundant subscriptions and canceled them;
- After logging into Facebook, Dot reminded him of everything his wife mentioned and dug through 6 months of Messenger history to build a website of all the "this looks yummy, we should cook it" recipes she sent.
