Coco Robotics, one of the largest sidewalk delivery operators in the US and Europe, announced an exclusive UK partnership with Deliveroo (a DoorDash portfolio brand). The rollout starts in London's Canary Wharf in October, expanding to Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton-on-Tees and Nottingham in the coming months.
This marks Coco's UK debut, following earlier collaborations with DoorDash and Wolt in the US. Initial merchants include Patty&Bun and independents like Signorelli and Beam, with Ole & Steen, Royal China and Din Tai Fung to follow. The zero-emission, purpose-built robots also feed real-time pavement hazard data into BlindSquare's GPS app to help blind and partially sighted pedestrians navigate more safely.
