Vibe-Coded Flipper Zero Telink Flasher Lets You Reflash Cheap Tuya Zigbee Devices
ngxson · x · 2026-10-06
Developer ngxson open-sourced a bitbang-based Telink flasher that runs on Flipper Zero, enabling reflashing of cheap Tuya devices with TLSR chips. The project is self-described as "highly vibe-coded," with the repo's AGENTS.md documenting the AI-assisted development process.
Reproducible details:
- Build the Flipper app in telinksws with ufbt (SDK must match firmware API)
- Wiring: target SWS pin to Flipper C0/C1/C3, GND to GND, VCC to Flipper 3V3 (pin 9)
- The app registers an sws CLI command: sws id reads chip ID, sws jedec reads SPI flash ID, sws dump 0 0x80000 /ext/fw.bin dumps 512KB of flash (verified by default)
- Inspired by pvvx's TLSRPGM and related projects
