Mistral Large 4 'Le Chonk' leak: 1T-parameter multimodal model with open weights Oct 31

An upcoming-release page for mistralai/Mistral-Large-4.0-1T05-A52B has appeared on Hugging Face, codenamed Le Chonk, with open weights expected on October 31, 2026.
The model is natively multimodal with 1 trillion total parameters and about 49 billion active parameters per token (52 billion including embeddings and output layers). 179 users are already waiting for the release.
