Building an Interactive 3D Animal Atlas with GPT-6 Astra, No 3D Software Needed
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-10-06
Developer CodeByPoonam shared a full workflow for building an interactive 3D Animal Atlas entirely through GPT-6 Astra prompts, with no 3D software or plugins:
- Design the interface first: describe the app layout up front (cream background, sage-green accents, serif headings, card row, info panel, rotating creature) to minimize rework.
- Generate creatures one at a time: consistent front/three-quarter views, lighting, and background so the set feels unified.
- Build the experience: ask for clickable cards, slow 360° rotation, per-animal info panels, smooth transitions, then screen-record at 16:9 with cursor clicks timed to panel changes.
