NVIDIA's State of AI in Telecommunications report finds 89% of operators view open-source models and software as important to their AI strategy. The report cites five strategic values: cheaper access to frontier intelligence, telco-specific fine-tuning, trustworthiness and governance, flexible deployment across cloud/edge, and locally adapted AI services for enterprise customers.
