A Reddit user says an alleged Alibaba 0-day partner casually mentioned that Qwen 4 is planned for release at the end of October — much faster than expected given the long gap between Qwen 3.6 and 3.8.
The partner got cagey when asked which variants would come first, but the poster speculates a Qwen 4 27B could arrive this year. Unconfirmed rumor for now.
