Open-source plugin gives DeepSeek Harness agent 17 browser tools via raw CDP, no signature break

Developer alesha-pro released dsh-sidebar-browser, an open-source plugin that turns the built-in sidebar browser in DSH Desktop (DeepSeek Harness) from human-only into agent-driven, exposing 17 browser tools to open tabs, read pages, click, type, scroll and take screenshots.
Key implementation notes:
- Out of the box the browser ships zero tools for the model; the host half is literally an empty apply() {}.
- Playwright and Puppeteer don't work here: they only enumerate page targets, while the sidebar tab is a webview target — connecting to the app only surfaced the harness UI itself.
- The author solved it with raw CDP straight to the webview target, no separate Chrome/Chromium window needed.
- The approach doesn't patch the app: no unpacking app.asar, so the macOS code signature stays valid, unlike other approaches.
A dependency-free CLI is included. Repo is on GitHub.
