JojoScript: An open-source scripting language designed for LLMs to write data pipelines
panagos_stathis · reddit · 2026-10-06
The developer open-sources JojoScript, built around one idea: make code easy for LLMs to write, read and reason about, especially for big datasets. Instead of an LLM generating hundreds of lines of Python, it gets a small, predictable language for filtering, mapping, aggregating and processing data. Features include lazy execution, parallel operations, execution-plan inspection, and checkpoint/resume. Still very early; the author is soliciting honest feedback on whether languages designed with LLMs as a first-class programmer are a viable direction. GitHub: github.com/panagos/jojoscript.
