FLUX 3 Claims #1 Spot on DeepMind's Physics-IQ Video Benchmark
bfl_ai · x · 2026-10-06
Black Forest Labs says FLUX 3 now tops Google DeepMind's Physics-IQ benchmark, which tests whether video models can predict what physically happens next from the start of real filmed experiments, spanning fluid dynamics, optics, solid mechanics, magnetism and thermodynamics.
BFL claims it substantially outperforms frontier rivals including Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3, Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, Veo 3.1, Sora 2 and Cosmos3 on most tasks. The base model alone beats all other foundation models, and pairing it with a physics verification layer scores even higher. BFL also positions the backbone as the foundation for FLUX 3 Action's robotics action prediction and FLUX 3 Video's physically accurate motion for ads, films and product shots.
