Tianjin University's Haihe BCI lab unveiled what it calls the world's smallest and lightest non-invasive brain-computer interface:
- Just 3 grams, 2 cm³, small enough to hide entirely in scalp hair
- Integrates EEG electrodes, signal processing, battery and wireless transmission in one unit
- Samples brain activity at 1,000 Hz, runs 8-10 hours per charge
Targeted uses include long-term brain monitoring, brain-controlled games and devices, sleep tracking, neurofeedback, education, multi-person brain recording, and workplace safety.
