Bloomberg reports DeepSeek is close to raising at least $12B at a possible $71B valuation, potentially reaching $15B with signed term sheets after the V4 Flash launch. Funds target hardware including at least 160,000 Huawei Ascend 950DT accelerators in Inner Mongolia. Tencent and CATL committed $1.5B and $740M in the first outside round; founder Liang Wenfeng put in $3B himself.
