New estimate sits 6.5e-9 below Hsing Lo's 2025 value; reproduction suggests the gap is a fluctuation
geoffreyirving · x · 2026-10-06
The author compares against Hsing Lo's 2025 estimate of 1.5065918902 ± 5.4e-9, which sits 6.5e-9 above the new value, just outside its interval. After reproducing its membership test, the biases were found small and mostly downward, so the gap appears to be a fluctuation; Förstemann's value falls well within its 95% CI.
