Dev builds a Minecraft grapple-swing mod with Claude, ships forest traversal after debugging
Promptmethus · x · 2026-10-06
Developer 0xJarvi shared a Minecraft mod written with Claude: a grappling hook that pulls you up into trees, letting you swing from tree to tree across a forest. The first version kept throwing him into the ground, and it took a few evenings of debugging to fix — but flying over the forest at sunset made it worth it. A fun hands-on case of AI-assisted game modding.
