Dev uses 5 Grok agents over 3 days to pre-generate a full AI dictionary for English readers
sujingshen · x · 2026-10-06
A developer solved the "AI lookup is too slow" problem by precomputing everything: instead of real-time AI queries on tap-to-lookup, his new pipeline has AI pre-read entire epub novels and auto-annotate them into a companion dictionary. He spun up 5 agents in a Grok Bot group chat to divide the work, finishing v1 in 3 days while burning through one bot's weekly quota on his Grok Heavy subscription. His takeaway: many bad AI features fail not because models are weak, but because computation lands at a moment users can't wait — precompute what you can. Open-source release planned after copyright cleanup.
