During China's rainy National Day holiday, Deep Robotics fielded a batch of DR02 humanoid robots in Hangzhou's West Lake district for visitor guidance, order-keeping, and traffic assistance.
Key details:
- IP66 rating let them work in the rain; rated roughly −20°C to 55°C
- Gestures follow signal timing; they shift inside intersections, yield to people and cars, then move to the next post
- Vision flags no-helmet riders, overloaded bikes, pedestrians over the line, and cars past the stop line, with voice reminders
- At scenic entrances they answer directions in Chinese, English, and more, easing officers' repetitive questions
