Hacktoberfest's PR-counting became spam counting in the AI era, devs say

Developer @MadhabCoder argues AI made typo-fix PRs cost zero seconds, so counting PRs was basically counting spam at Hacktoberfest. He endorses the format change, saying building one small real thing beats hunting for a README to "improve".
