Mystery Model 'Daybreak Blue' Appears in Codex, Won't Explain Itself
561Danny · reddit · 2026-10-06
A Reddit user found an unknown model called Daybreak Blue in Codex, which forced GitHub authorization (he used a blank repo). When asked what he could do with it, the Daybreak Blue Light model itself replied it had no idea what "Daybreak Blue" refers to. Unverified, but this looks like a stealth rollout of a new OpenAI model—name and purpose still unexplained.
