Lee Kai-fu met Kazakh President Tokayev in Astana to advance an AI education pilot for secondary schools. Starting with 10 schools in September, it expands to 60 in January and targets 500 by April 2027, aiming to improve learning and broaden access to quality education. Lee framed it as part of his mission for AI sovereignty beyond the two AI superpowers.
