NormalFactory unveils FrontierCAD, a verifier for grading AI-generated CAD parts and assemblies

NormalFactory investigated a seemingly simple question: how do you grade whether AI-generated CAD parts or assemblies are correct? They built FrontierCAD, a verifier designed to improve on this evaluation step.
As AI CAD generation improves, grading correctness becomes the bottleneck — their answer is a dedicated verifier that checks generated components and assemblies. Sharer hudzah called the results "striking"; full details in the linked post.
