Hugging Face and vLLM co-host Open Together kickoff party for Open Source AI Week in SF, already at capacity

The vLLM project announced it is co-hosting "Open Together" with Hugging Face as the kickoff event of Open Source AI Week, on Friday October 16 at The Midway in San Francisco, free for everyone.
- 6-9pm meetups and community demos on HF Spaces (36 spots, apply by Oct 2), followed by a DJ dance party until midnight
- Hosts include Arcee AI, Ai2, Nous Research, Unsloth AI, and LMSYS; sponsors are Arcee AI and Reflection AI
- Collectible HF swag for the first 500 builders; the event is at capacity with 1,000 going, waitlist open
